CHURCH  ON  A  MISSION

Our church proudly supports missionaries & missional projects here and all over the world!

Jesus' instructions to His followers couldn't have been more clear:

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..." (Matthew 28:19 NIV).

Faith Promise

One huge way we support missional work is through Faith Promise giving. We hold an annual missions weekend early in each new year. We host a special guest speaker or missionary that weekend and promise our support for another faith-filled year of generosity for the sake of the kingdom.

Freedom Sunday

Our church also sets aside a special week to focus on the issue of human trafficking. We love to partner with both global projects through CHOG Trafficklight and local projects like Freedom13.

MISSIONAL PARTNERS

These are missionaries, ministries and projects--both local & global--that we support and partner with.

  • MACU is at the forefront of schools dedicated to the call for a desperately needed ministry training center in the central U.S. to prepare Church of God pastors and ministers.

  • Awaken Church

  • Children of Promise

Children of Promise partners with Church of God congregations in 27 countries across the globe to provide food, schooling, health care, and spiritual nurture to children in need. Wherever children need help, Children of Promise wants to be there.

  • Grace Place

Grace Place, here in Monroe, is a place where the hungry find food, the naked find clothing, the weary find rest, and the people of the local church and community find a place to serve as the hands and feet of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • This great organization got its start right here in West Monroe and there is still a Mercy Home here. They have helped thousands of troubled young women be restored to wholeness. Mercy’s goal is to help these girls find freedom from their issues and empower them to serve in their communities as productive citizens.

  • Christian community ministries

CCM is another organization here in Monroe that provides important care to the poor and homeless in our community. They provide food, clothing, and a variety of other assistance and are able to do much more through the support of many churches than we could hope to do on our own.

  • This branch of Church of God Ministries exists to walk alongside the local church globally as it gives life.
